Weaving Materials - Shaker Tape
Cotton webbing traditionally used on Shaker style chair seats. It is also popular in basketry as handles and backpack straps. Unless noted, our Shaker tape is the authentic, original American-made tape. Colorfast. Sold in whole yard increments only. Rolls are NOT one continuous length. There will be an additional charge to cut tape to specific lengths. Formula for figuring yardage for seats is at the bottom of this page.
Shaker Tape is available in: 5/8" & 1" widths.
Sorry, No returns on cut goods.

Shaker Tape Weaving Tools
Designed to be used in Shaker tape seat weaving, but great for basketry, too. Curved wood with hole in one end for tape to go through.
Choose 5/8" or 1" size tool.
We've been told these are great for lifting the spokes when weaving twills.
